Bottle. Crisp, refreshing cracker pils malt, low to medium hop presence in the nose, suitable for northern German pils. Silky, oily, medium/light body, has a lightness to the texture. Pils malt (crackers), slightly sweet bread. Unassuming and uncomplicated, simple, refreshing and delicious.

Bottle: Pours a clear yellow color with a light white sticky head. The nose is up front and fairly crisp with a light husky note. The flavor is bitter forward with a clean dry light body and a toasty and biscuity finish. Clean and refreshing, it has a perfect bite of hop (for me) for a pilsner. Nice choice for the summer.

Bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy/frothy, white, fully diminishing. Body is medium to dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, cereal), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers), with light notes of soap and DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, slightly unclean. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A little dirty (in both nose and aftertaste) and too sweet. Meh.

Bottle from a Trader Joe’s. Pours a rather golden orange with a few white bubbles for head. Aromas of grass and caramel. Medium plus body with mild carbonation. Flavor is malty/bready with some astringent floral/grassy hop. It really drinks quite well. Finish has substance and bitter.

Sampled on 12/8/2009. This pilsner pours a medium yellow gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is cereal malts and spicy hops, slightly sweet. A medium bodied pilsner. The malts are cereal and bready. The hops are spicy and floral. Nice balance. Good carbonation. A nice crisp and clean pilsner. A great balance between the malts and the hops. Wish more pilsners tasted like this one. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Pours a nice clear golden with nice carbonation and a good solid head- excellent lace. Aroma is a bit crackery, toast, light bread, slight acetaldehyde, light earth, some burning weeds, and wire, green grassy hops. Flavor is nutty doughy, bread, cracker, not as full/fresh bready- slight acetaldehyde, green apple skin tannin rawness- crisp and a bit sharp overall. Looks good, and somewhat easy drinking but has some flaws.

Bottle poured a clear gold with a lasting white head. Aromas of bread and light graininess wqith a hint of spicy hops. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread and light spicy hops with a crisp lightly bitter finish.
