Angeloregon (2002), Portland, Oregon, USA Dec 18, 2007 I tasted this twice over the week of the Horse Brass’s 30th anniversary in 2006. Poured a light copper body with a small white head. Notes of honey and sweet bisuity fruits. Flavor and finish of bittering hops and a semi-sweet malt presence. I love PNW beers and this is one reason why. DA (2472), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon, USA Jan 22, 2007 I wasn’t going to rate this, but since someone else added it i’ll put in my notes on it. This was a one-off beer on tap at the Horse Brass for the 30th anniversary. Pours copper, very clear, with a soft off-white head. Fruity aroma, hints of honey, peach, and light citrus hops. This was pretty good for a bitter, nice and hoppy and very smooth. The sweetness had a light caramel flavor that blended well with hints of fruit throughout. Finish was crisp and full of last minute hop additions.
