| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 11, 2007 Clear dark red, creamy tan head. Toasted and caramel malt aroma with some heavy hop notes. Quite tart and a little chalky. Toffee and mild hop flavor. A bit thin in body. Good balancing bitterness. I assume the prominent hop in this ale is Nugget. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 9, 2007 Aroma is a nice hop scent. Color is a full amber with ok carbonation and a nice head. Taste is malt with a mild bitterness. Starting with a medium body it goes down easy with a malty flavor coming in and hop flavor and bitterness right on top of it. This is a well done beer where the hops and malt seem to come out at the same time. Headbanger (1583), Aurora, Illinois, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 5, 2007 Courtesy of Degarth. My notes are like Chinese algebra at this point. Dark red pour, small head. Nose of caramel, hops, citrus and pretty sweet malts. Flavor adds a touch of diacetyl, with all of the other components there as well. Good carbonation, medium bodied. Good for what it is, but we did it a disservice ending the night with it after such great/big beers. ThomasE (5178), Copenhagen, Denmark

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 30, 2007 Thanks Bobo!!!! Poured a dark amber color, head is sporadic at best. Aroma is slightly hoppy, but there is a toasty component that I find appealing. Flavor is hoppy, but is a touch subdued. Maltiness does begin to show, everything just seems a bit tuned down.
