| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 14, 2007 Picked up a 22-oz bottle via trade with chriso420 at the Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon. Pours a clear dark golden amber brew with an average off-white head that slowly dissolves to a fine film. Nice lacing. Aroma of roasted caramel malt, toasted oatmeal cookies, with a touch of earthy flower hops. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of sweet caramel malt, citrus zest and an earthy hop bitterness. Finish is dry with a green vegetable aftertaste. badgerben (3596), Blaine, Minnesota, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 9, 2007 22 oz. bottle in San Francisco. Light brown, orange color with a light beige head. Aroma was of light malt but mostly of light to medium hoppiness. Malty smell kicked in a bit more as it warmed. Taste is smooth, and mostly quite hoppy but not excessive. A touch of malt flavor but not much. Kind of like a weak IPA, but more drinkable if you can’t handle the high bitter levels. Decent, but I wouldn’t feel like I was missing out if I didn’t come across this beer again. hayduke (1641), Eureka, California, USA

Nose was caramel malts with some light grassy hops. Mouthfeel light and a bit thin. Flavor was malts and hops, with a little fruit. Not much finish. A drinkable but undistinguished amber; waolsen (1222), Littleton, Colorado, USA
