Pours a murky light brown color with a thick, somewhat frothy off-white head that laces the glass as it subsides. I smell raspberries and other red fruits. I also get faint malt smells. Tastes of fruity malts and some hops. Lots of red fruits and berries in this brew. Tastes good. Pretty standard palate, almost a little metallic up front. Subdued carbonation, a bit thick. Not the best red I’ve ever had, but good.

Sampled at the 2007 Blooms & Brews Fest at the Oregon Gardens. This was the one i used my last toekn on and as fate would have it, was my favorite beer of the show. It pours a clear dark amber. Nose is nice and hoppy. Are these Nugget hops used in this? Taste is a nice balance between caramel malts and a nice piney.citrusy hoppiness. Nice medium/full body. medium carbonation. Very tasty!

Pours a clear, crimson tinted amber. Orange hues at the edges. A thin, off-white head dissipates slowly but fully. The aroma is of citric hops, mellow and agreeable. Very light toast is also noted, along with low but noticeable alcohol, caramel, light spice and vanilla bean. The flavor is very nice, also quite soft. Caramel malt leads the charge, followed immediately by hops and more soft spices. Finishes lightly sweet, then mildly drying, bitterness lingering briefly. The mouthfeel is crisp, soft, mildly carbonated and smooth. Tasty, though not very memorable.

Dark amber ale with a lovelly tan head,. handsome . mostly treacle/toffeeish malt aromas, some buiscuit and a touch of spice. Strong treacle ,toasted malt taste, bitter undertones. Semi-sweet, dark fruitiness, lingering finish with hoppy undertones. Excellent. Very amiable on the palte, but far from boring. Soft. Overall a very good amber ale. Quite tasty. Better than their regular Amber for sure.

Poured an amber color with good head. Aroma was citrus and floral some caramel. Flavor was much the same but something was off, and got worse as it warmed. Mouthfeel was a little thin.

Bottle. Light garnet color with a frothy ivory head. Somewhat malty aroma with an almost Belgian yeast dynamic. Very estery with slight banana notes. Dusty and dry. Hoppy but not excessively bitter. Caramel maltiness with tome toffee notes. Very dry finish.
