Clear amber with a short off-white head. Floral aroma with some citrus hops and a nice malty mix. Metallic bitterness up front with noble hops and caramel malt making up the back. Its okay, but nothing I’ll have again.

Very red pour with a rocky and fluffy white head. Sweet candy sugar with some apples on the nose. Nice crisp irish ale flavor - light toffee with good crystal malt balance - not overly sweet or cough syrupy. This combines with a nice grassy bitterness. Somewhat creamy. This is a nice quaffer. Thnks André!

[Bottle, thanks Skyview] Poured red with a medium light tan head. Spicy aroma. Hoppy, fruity taste with low bitterness. Pretty good.

Doughy, grainy aroma with flowery and herbal hop notes; slightly vegetal; sweet, toasty caramel flavor, some pheonelics; nice balance, round, slightly slick palate. A nice amber.

Very interesting slightly cloudy red brown. Nice head form and formation. Farily fruity with some dark toffee notes. Has a very woody/earthy hops aroma. Fairly dry body with nuttiness, banana, and and mostly crystal malt backdrop with a touch of roasted malt thrown in. Finishes moderately bitter, with a slight bit of astingentness.

Red-amber in color with a tan head. This almost looks like a brown ale. The smell is faint. The taste is unoffensive and kind of bland, some bitterness. I was hoping for something like Nugget Nectar (greatest “amber” ale ever) or the Lagunitas Lucky 13 red ale. Full Sail is kind of hit or miss in my book but the hits keep me coming back. I am still looking forward to the next brewmaster reserve series. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 06-11-2007 21:47:14

22oz bottle - Pours a clear, deep ruby red color with medium sized tan head that dissipates rather quickly to leave a bit of lacing. Aroma has fair amount of creamy caramel, toasted hazelnuts, vanilla, along with a touch of citrusy hops. Flavor is a bit fruity/citrusy, with caramel, mild biscuit notes, bit of orange and pear, faint citrusy hops, with a slightly sweet but balanced finish. A decent brew, wouldn’t mind having again, but wouldn’t go out of my way to seek it out either.
