Pours a deep amber color with a tan head. Aroma is malts, biscuit, with grassy hops. Flavor is malts, toasty, biscuit, and a light bitter hop finish.

Tasted 8/13/07. 22oz bomber. Clear and ruby. Finger width of beige head. Maple plummy nose. Cinnamon and sugary bready aromas. Medium bodied with bready caramel flavors. Dry palate. Toasty bready flavors. Wonderful red! Mild fruity bitterness. Mild coffee acidity. Caramel and sugary malts. Medium hoppiness. Touch rye. Nice piney hop finish marries well with the mild bitter malt roast. Well done!

Bomber. Pours a solid dark red, mild off white head. Subtle aroma of caramel malt, fruity hops. Flavor with a nice helping of toasted, roasty malts. Maybe a dash of chocolate burried in there. Solid bitterness from grain and hops. Balanced herbal hop character. Long finish with bitterness and light floral notes. Body is pretty light. Good beer.

Bottle: Beautiful color blend of copper and amber. Big, creamy beige head and thick lacing. Nose is hoppy and citrus fruit with a balanced malt presence. Taste is more floral in hops, but has citrus and caramel malt present too. I was quite happy with this offering from Full Sail.

From a 22 oz bottle this poured a copper to red with nice fat off-white head and moderate lacing. Nose was caramel malts with some light grassy hops. Mouthfeel light and a bit thin. Flavor was malts and hops, with a little fruit. Not much finish. A drinkable but undistinguished amber;

Full Sail is one of those brewers who are just so hard to nail down. Sometimes their brews aren’t all that good, other times they are a total suprise. This beer kinda falls there in the middle. Even though it’s in the middle, it was still enjoyable.

The beer pours out a medium copper/reddish color with a nice sized white foam head. Aroma was spicy/herbal apple cider, caramel, with a touch of breadyness. Flavors had notes of some sweet fruits, piney hops, grains, alcohol and herbs. Easy to drink a pint or two. Not sure how much easier a 3rd pint would go down.
