Apr 28, 2007 Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, off white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear dark amber. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain, cookie), moderately hoppy (grapefruit, resin, flowers). Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately to heavily bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. Just another hop-centric brew, but pretty decent in the mouth experience...well balanced and a pleasant texture.

Dec 16, 2007 A dark amber appearance. The aroma consists of toffee, caramel, and faint citrus showing. The flavor is rather malty with some toffee. A little bit of citrus, lemons and oranges, are in there as well. The finish is slightly sour. Overall it was ok.

Apr 4, 2007 Very interesting slightly cloudy red brown. Nice head form and formation. Farily fruity with some dark toffee notes. Has a very woody/earthy hops aroma. Fairly dry body with nuttiness, banana, and and mostly crystal malt backdrop with a touch of roasted malt thrown in. Finishes moderately bitter, with a slight bit of astingentness.

Jul 7, 2008 750ml brown bottle from Kokoman in Pojoaque, New Mexico. Pours a dense dark amber with a thick tan head. Nice rich malty and hoppy aromas. Medium body with a full mouhtfeel Even malty/hop flavor balance, with big hop bitterness into the finish.Subdued carmel character, borderline coarseness with the hops but overall, very flavorfull.

Jun 20, 2007 @Mountain Beerfest-on tap-pours a thin light tan head and dark copper color. Aroma is medium malt-some sweet, cascade hops. Taste is medium/dark malt-some sweet/roasty, cascade hops-some bitter. OK/mild carbonation.

Jun 4, 2007 Dark amber good head. Sweet malt aroma. Sharp hop bite at the finish. Slight floral and cotton candy sweetness in the taste. A bit too sweet for my liking.
