Jun 13, 2007 Bottle: Beautiful color blend of copper and amber. Big, creamy beige head and thick lacing. Nose is hoppy and citrus fruit with a balanced malt presence. Taste is more floral in hops, but has citrus and caramel malt present too. I was quite happy with this offering from Full Sail.

Oct 9, 2007 Aroma is a nice hop scent. Color is a full amber with ok carbonation and a nice head. Taste is malt with a mild bitterness. Starting with a medium body it goes down easy with a malty flavor coming in and hop flavor and bitterness right on top of it. This is a well done beer where the hops and malt seem to come out at the same time.

Sep 5, 2007 A nice amber that is easy to finish the whole 22oz. red hue, not much head, but balanced very well with hops. Would to see this with more alc. and aged in bourbon barrels!

Apr 8, 2007 Nice little hoppy red siding more with being a session beer then the red IPAs that have shown up all over the place. Sweet citrus hop nose. Caramel and slightly fruity body with a very crisp hop finish. Not overly bitter or overpowered with hops, more balanced and drinkable. I really enjoyed this beer, would be great as a new bottled release.

Jun 6, 2007 22 Special Ounces of Special Red Ale. 2007 Brewmaster Reserve. Dark copper amber color. Foamy tan head. Lots of caramel malts in the aroma. Hint of grapefruit and citrus in the nose as well. Floral flavor, rose, and some candy. Lots of malt. Very balanced palate. I wish I had another bottle of this one!

Apr 23, 2007 Nugget pours out with a nice head crowning the amber body. Malts and hops balance well and simply here. Citrus and some bitterness keeps this a fresh and drinkable beer.

Mar 28, 2008 22 oz. bomber courtesy of Nate. Pours amber red with touch of brown. Small, rimming beige head. Nose is huge caramel with chocolate and toffee, slight butter nose. Tast is caramel and butterscotch candies, bleeding into a hop-centric bitter middle and end. Good earthy hop flavor that lingers well into the after. Nice full mouthfee and tasty. Good red.
