Pours a clear golden color with thin white head. Not much retention but some lacing. Slightly grassy aroma. Flavor is slightly bready and malty. Clean, easy drinking. Nothing fantastic but, as the name implies, a nice session beer.

11oz bottle (2009) into a Stella glass. Pours clear light yellow with a small white head that fades fast and leaves no lace. The aroma is sweet, malty, and slightly grassy and creamy. The flavor is light and almost citrusy, but clean.

I really think this beer suffers from it’s not exciting or barrel aged discrimination. It is a solid lawnmower beer. Crisp and refreshing. Everything people complain that BMC is not not.

Now this is a great beer. Easy to drink with no nasty aftertaste. This is what beer should be.

Not good...foul smelling, watery, and bad aftertaste. Eggy. Bitter. Would not drink again.

Pours a pale color with a small but solid head and there are lots of tiny bubbles in this one. The aroma is grassy and mild with some sweet malt. The flavor has a good husky maltiness and some good honey character. There are light herbal tones and a little bit of licorice in the background. The beer is moderately hoppy and wonderfully made.

Totally decent beer for session drinking, as the name implies. Nothing really special going on, but perfect for gatherings.

Malty, bready nose. Deep brown color. Light and lagery (obviously) taste; decent but not my thing.

I was expecting a little more from a pretty reputable micro grandfather, but besides the cool bottle and fun Lucky Lager like caps, this is just a generic tasting overly malted american lager. Now besides all that, I would pick this up over any american macro and feel glad to do so. If anything stands out about this, the finish has some appealing malty, bisquity notes that put it above the rest. Very drinkable, isn’t that why it’s in such a snappy bottle.
