Clear & yellow, little head.
Clean aroma, moist, a little pissy, but inoffensive. Lemon zest...
As lager-y as it gets on the palate, some slight, grainy texture, but we’re just talking beer beer here, folks.
Extra light in body, extra easy drinking, but also extra boring.
Little too citrus-y, and then a bit too sweet.
You can drink it, but it does little for my tastebuds.
Mouthfeel gets creamier, and tastier the more I drink, ...
I’m liking it better.
Good try, though, guys, nothing wrong with a craft brew lager.

Oct 5, 2008 No real surprises here. This is what the bottle states, a session lager. It is however a bit expensive for what you get and while I understand the concept of the bottle, it’s still one ounce less no matter how you shake it. Clear golden color and pours with a thin white head. The aroma is malty, grassy, and overall a bit herbal. Light-bodied, easy drinking, sweet malts, light hopping and a little dusty. Really nothing too exciting here though. One of those beers I’ll drink if you give it to me but I probably won’t be buying it too often, if ever again.

Oct 4, 2008 I found this review recently but I actaully drank the beer in July. So those of you who a tracking what Suttree drinks ans when, please make a note and place this between Hofbrau dunkel and Baron’s Pale. Oh the beer is exactly what i sets out to be, grainy and crisp and easy to drink. Bonus point or the stubby bottle.

Oct 3, 2008 Bottle @ Bin 18. Clear medium-gold with decently thick, off-white head. Cute stubby bottle. Slight skunkiness in the nose but also a whack of sweet grains, grassy hops, and minerals. Prickly mouthfeel. Finishes clean. Very sweet, like a corn-added macro lager done well. Too sweet, too fizzy, but good for a mindless party beer if the price is right.

Sep 26, 2008 It comes in nifty looking bottles. But for the price the ale is more expensive than most per ounce. Portland has a strange infatuation with an otherwise unremarkable hipster domestic.

Sep 21, 2008 Great lager. The stubby is fun, but 11oz is disappointing (I want more). Great pour and easy head. This is a good on the tongue and offers mild fruitiness and a nice finish off the tongue.
