Poured dark hazy brown color with medium head. Aroma is musty hops and malt. Flavor is sweet with rich malt on palate, finish is slightly bitter. Great beer and very easy to drink.

500ml Bottle: Pours deep amber and brown, good off-white head with great lacing from top to bottom. Fighting the effects of a cold so pegging aromas proved difficult - sadly, all I can say is more fruit and malt than hops. Lots of alcohol and hops up front in the taste, great bitterness that makes way for a nice sweet balancing hit of malt. Quite a bit of carbonation, and a very dry finish. It’s well crafted, well balanced, and enjoyable - worth the wait (took me three years to find one!)

Pours an clear amber with some white frothy head. No floaties, despite being bottle conditioned. Flavor is English malt, with notes of leather, mesquite, hickory and tannins. The nose is less hoppy and more dry malty. It finishes on a dry, biscuity notes.

Bottle, served at cellar temperature. This is a beautiful transparent amber with a great, thick, long lasting head. There is plenty of cherry in the aroma, some raisin, caramel, yeast. I taste more cherry leading to orange with zest with more complex fruit sweetness, grape with skins and maybe a hint of chocolate. Finishes with plenty of pleasant bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium and wonderful with plenty of animated carbonation on the tongue. Wonderful!

Pours a beautiful deep copper to nearly brown colour that is a gorgeous shade of garnet when held up to a light with a finger and a half tan head that lasts a good long time and leaves lacing all over the place. Beautiful to look at. Nose is dark fruits, and grapefruity to piney hops. Flavour is initially very much the same, at first its some very resiny or piney hop flavour. There’s a strong caramel malt backing there, and it finishes a touch spicy and a little bit bitter. It’s very dry, and the carbonation is very nice, not bland and flat, but not sharp and fizzy. It’s not watery, but it’s not exactly creamy.

Pours dark red-brown, big and lasting frothy head. Smell is fairly sweet, banana and malt. Taste is really rather good, a lot going on, lots of malt, banana and caramel, some other fruit, almonds, and a nice sweet malty finish. Really rather good.

500ml Bottle: Aroma of biscuity hops, malts, caramel, slight graham cracker, toasting, and a hint of tobacco. Quite pleasant. Poured amber in color with a small, rocky, loose, tan head that lasted throughout. Clear. Sparkling. Fully of tiny particles throughout. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter aroma. Tastes of hops, biscuit, toasting, malts, sourdough, and resin. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Malty, biscuity, finish turns resinous.
