Oct 3, 2009 Lots of licorise and dark fruit throughout. Perhaps not in 100% condition this bottle, but still showed a lot. QUite rich and probably a one bottle drink on a nice chilly evening.

Sep 26, 2009 Nutty, bread aroma and looks like a dark amber/light brown color with superb head retention and lacing. Flavor of standard ales, with notes of malty goodness and a strong hoppy finish. Uneventful palate and overall this is a pretty good ale that i’ll hopefully gain a better taste for. Cheers!
