Bottle, 50cl. Pours deep red/brown with a nice, very slowly diminishing tan head. Sweet aroma of malt, fruity with notes of caramel and goldings. Medium bodied, with a roasty taste of caramel malt and dark fruits, leaving a long lasting, sweet and bitter aftertaste. Medium bodied, with little carbonation.

500. Pours crystal clear ruddy brown with a thick, rocky, moussy, creamy, towering tan head--it goes through virtually every known phase of head appearance as it piles up in the glass, shoving beer out of the way as it goes. Nice sweet plummy nose, with a little bit of booze sticking its head in, too--odd, for 6.3%. Body’s on the light side of medium, almost a little watery in places, with very understated carb. Nice rich woody, leathery mid-palate with crisp but mild hop resin near the finish. Nice lingering resiny finish. This is really dandy stuff.

Bottle pours a copper, red coloured beer with a thickish head which becomes thinner but lasts throughout. Strong, spicy aroma. Taste fills the tongue with dark red cherry and spicy notes. A longish, dry finish. This beer gets better with every sip, and I imagine it would go fantasically well with a chunk of crusty bread and a piece of strong cheddar. An excellent bottled beer.

Copper colored with a frothy head. Nice, but mild earthy, grainy smell. Med body with a smooth mouthfeel. A light taste is same as the smell with pale malts and an earthy yeastyness. Finishes very dry. Highly drinkable. 82505

Bottle. Cherry aroma, light hops. Pours a dark red-brown with a thick bubbly brown head. Malty with good body. Opens sweet and fades into a well-established hop finish with cherry and caramel notes. Smoke interplays with light citrus. Very well brewed beer.

Bottle. Pours a clear deep amber brown colour with a creamy small but well lasting light brown head leaving a very good lacing. Soft sweetish aroma with well toasted malt, hops and spices. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet with a nice hoppy frutiness, well toasted caramel and malt and some spices. Dry and bitter toasty alco finish. Tasty ale indeed.
