Pours beautifully from bottle, with creamy head which remains as I drink. Nose of sweet dried fruit: prunes, cherries, cranberries. Flavor more woody, w/ awesome depth due to the range of lightly sweet malt undertones. Strong hops dryness. Works!

16.9oz bottle, Best Before 05/Feb/09.Clear orange with some reddish highlights and a 2 finger light yellowish white head, good retention. Fruity aroma of prunes, raisins, and cherries to go along with toasty malts and caramel. Flavor follows with some light stale roasted notes to go along with the fruits and an earthy bitter (3-4 out of 10) dry finish. Medium body with low to moderate carbonation. Apparently, I’m not a huge fan of English Strong Ales

Wow. Lively hop bitterness and touch of yeast bite in flavor and aroma... underneath is proud solid malts that touch a balance between roast and restraint. This should age VERY well and open up in the process.

Bottle. Pours a clear, dark red color with a thin white head that dissipates rather quickly. Aroma is of baked apples, cherries, hops and some hints of spice. Flavor is of sweet fruit, spice, hops, and malts with a noticable honey finish. Mouthfeel is crisp and sharp. Very good.

Pours amber with a fizzy dirty white head. Aroma is big rich chewy malts, almost cake like, sweet and juicy. The aroma just makes you want to eat. Flavor is nice smooth and chewy, good malt, a medium sweetness. Possibly some fruits, berries, and nuts. Body is exceptional.

Pours dark reddish amber with nice sized, tight off white head- though it does dissapate rather quickly. Nose of caramel malt, hops, and bitter chocolate. Upon first sip, I was blasted by hops which subsided into a complex, malty finish. Flavours of citrus and smokey caramel with a hint of earth in there as well. Everything is well balanced in this brew- hops, malt, and alchohol.

Pours a rustic red from bottle with a creamy lacing head. Aroma of cranberries and strawberries. Starts nutty and citric with some berry fruit and toffee notes in the middle. An awesome toasted caramel and dry finish.
