Lots of licorise and dark fruit throughout. Perhaps not in 100% condition this bottle, but still showed a lot. QUite rich and probably a one bottle drink on a nice chilly evening.

Nutty, bread aroma and looks like a dark amber/light brown color with superb head retention and lacing. Flavor of standard ales, with notes of malty goodness and a strong hoppy finish. Uneventful palate and overall this is a pretty good ale that i’ll hopefully gain a better taste for. Cheers!

A light brown beer with a decent head. The aroma is malty, & caramel. The taste is very smooth nutty, malty, caramel & is one of the smoothest beers I’ve had.

Deep brown pour. Sweet malt aroma. Nice malty taste. Not much in the way of an aftertaste.

Bottle. Amber pour with a thin white head. Watery , as I have come to expect. Flavor is mild, sweet and malty: Lightly bitter finish. Satisfactory.

Bottle. Another winner from Fuller’s! Pours a lovely golden copper with an off-white head that lasts well. Nose is packed with notes of toffee, rum, golden syrup, banana and malt. Very smooth mouthfeel with flavours of caramel, brown sugar, malt as well as a very nice bitterness that blends very well with the sweeter notes, although the beer isn’t as sweet as it sounds. Very nice indeed.

500ml bottle. Dark copper rusty vcolour with a deep thick dense beige cap of foam. Aromas of malt and spiced fruit tantalise the nose. Strong flavour with a medium bitterness and a strong bitter acrid aftertatse that isn’t unpleasant.
