Bottle. Has that ripe flavour you expect from a beer of this type. Initially, I would say that it verged on the stale, but the flavour develops on the tongue and is full of rich berries. Deeply red and pleasing, another one to savour.......

Aroma is nice, malty, bready, with notes of fruit, toffee, and unexpectedly, a bit of chocolate. Appearance is very attractive, semi-opaque, red/brown, thick off-white head. The flavor is fruit, bread, toffee, very bready, very good. Again a slight bit of chocolate. (?1?) Finish starts malty sweet, seques into a strong floral hop bitterness. Excellent. Mediium/thick mouthfeel. Very nicely crafted all ther way around.

Bottle. Good looking beer, reddish brown, with an off white head. Malty yeasty aroma, taste starts sweet with dough and hints of raisin, and moves quickly to a tight bitter finish that stays around a while.

A really good strong ale, it is even nice to look at in the glass, with its dark colour and creamy head. Fair bit of malt in the aroma and in the taste, but not overpowering. Liked it a lot!

(bottle - 500 ml) Rich copper pour with a thick off-white head. Aroma if full and fruity with hints of raisins, plums, spices, and some cinnamon bread. Flavor is dark and spicy at the beginning with a serious malt bite as soon as you drink it. A hoppy bitterness comes at you in the middle with hints of plums and yeast. Finishes bitter and lightly spicy. Very smooth with a lingering finish. Quite nice.

Clear brown to orange, thick pillowy beige head. Earthy aromas of dark fruit, hearty bread and a malt sweetness. Light toasted malt flavor gives way to a gentle caramel and floral hops. Perfectly balanced by a crisp, spicy bite. Finish battles between a malt and hops.

Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks zvikar! Deep red-ruby color with a medium beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel, light smoke hints and earthy hop notes. Sweet and malty flavor with biscuits, some fruity notes and a bitter finish with nice British earthy hops. Medium-bodied.
