Bottle: Red amber clear color with a nice creamy head. Aroma lots of malt, coffee and some citric tones. Toffee and a nice balanced hoppy end. Flavor lots of malt and a dry hoppy mouth feeling. Thin to medium body. Medium finish.

500 ml bottle. Red copper colour. Tall fluffy white head. Delicate malty and nutty aroma. Strong malty background. Distinct nutty flavours at first. Then a little more bitterness. Cocoa powder. Plums. Typical East Kent Goldings hops with a dry grassy flavour. Finish is dominated by hops and dry. Malts are very strong throughout with a distinct nutty maltiness and a light drying hoppy finish. Very characteristic, but I’m not entirely convinced by the slightly harsh edge of butter between malts and hops. But, still it is a wonderfully outstanding beer.

Nice, malty and slightly fruity arome. Superb colour and cute small head, that lingers quite longe. The flavor is malty with a nice hops. It ends nice, bitter and dry. I would have loved it on cask...

Has that familiar Fullers’ taste that they all have. Amber color. Nice head that didn’t last very long. Sort of dry palate. Good bitterness but overall well balanced. Good brew but not a 97 good.
