From a 500 ml bottle purchased locally, this poured a dark brown, with off white head that held up well, and left good lacing. Nose is caramel malts with hints of fruit and the mouthfeel is rich and creamy. Complex flavors and a long bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Pours a reddish amber with a tan head. Very hoppy in aroma and flavor. Not my favorite style but definitely a well brewed beer.

Pours red/amber with a fluffy white head. Sweet hoppy aromas. Very hoppy flavour, the alcoholic content makes for a peppery taste. Could only have one of these, very strong (but quite nice flavours).

Alluring dark red with a tan head. Tootsie rolls in the aroma; caramel, toast, some alcohol. Dry; toast, dried fruit, and mild grassy notes in the flavour. Ends with dark caramel sweetness, balanced by firm English hops. Fantastic, incredibly complex, balanced English ale.

Bottle. Big airy tan head. Beautiful shiny deep amber colored body. Excellent lacework. Strong nutty malt aroma with notes of caramel, dark fruits and earthy hops. Taste is full malty and has an inviting sweetness. Dark fruits and spicy tones, and more earthy bittering hops. Well-bodied. Balanced and smooth. Fine bitterness in the finish.
