Sep 19, 2008 Hazy ruby, thick lacing beige head. Strong plastic nose, tangy gooseberry hops, little brewing mash. This ain’t right..Strongly hopped, caramel flavor with tobacco and grain, quite stuffy overall. Medium bodied, strongly carbonated mouthfeel. I got the last bottle at my local shop, and it turned out to be out of shape.

Jan 5, 2004 Deep cloudy brownish, copper color with a nice bubbly lacing head. Some fruit in the aroma. Some malt and hops as well. Smooth, with a hoppy bite at the end of the taste. Some dry hopping might have been used. Very full as well. A good beer in my opinion.

Mar 18, 2007 Pours a clear amber color with a soapy off-white head. Malty aroma with caramel present. Taste is sweet upfront (caramel) with a nice hoppy ending. Well-balanced and clean. Super beer!

Jul 29, 2008 Flaske. Flot dybrød øl med et fint lille skumhoved. Duften er kraftig maltet, som går over i smagen der også indeholder en smule frugt. Mere i stil med en doppelbock egentlig. Ikke så spændende.

Sep 16, 2007 Bottle. Dark amber body, really nice off-white head, malt and Goldings in the nose. NICELY balanced caramel notes, herbal earthy hops.

Feb 6, 2006 Muddied garnet pour with an outstanding, velvety head. The nose is rather interesting and well rounded on this - obviously bready and malty, but with light cherry and perfumey notes throughout to add complexity. The body delivers more maltiness, although more chocolatey and bitter and less fruity. Some residual sweetness helps balance the bittersweetness of the chocolate, adding some toffee-like notes in the finish. This is a good one.

Jul 9, 2007 Clear copper with a bubbly white head. Deep aroma of malt, cookie dough, sherry, leather, and spice. Velvet mouthfeel. Toffee and molasses up front with the caramel malt colese behind. Coffee and crystal malt in the middle, with a nice bitter finish.

May 8, 2004 Spicy malt aroma with golden red brown cler colour. Bitter sour short flavour wth fizzy flavour. This one is not for me.
