The aroma was malty, but perhaps a bit dusty. It’s heading towards Old Peculier, but lacks the plummy notes. Small bubbles bite; toasty malty finish. Nice level of hoppy bitterness. If memory serves, this is a bit smoother than some, so the extra months may have mellowed it somewhat. Spice notes arrived half through the glass. Always a pleasure. mutant (854), Melbourne, Australia

Big malt flavour quickly followed by huge hop bitterness. Excellent, chose this ’Celebration Ale’ to bring up my ton and I’m glad I did. Drew (2410), Kent, Ohio, USA

A fantastic rich nose of dried plums, raisin, and citrus that are woven over layers of English toffee brittle and soft wet tea leaves. Dry dark fruity flavors, light anise, and touches of caramel are nicely balanced with a soft hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dark fruity, light bittersweet finish. Don’t pass this one up. It’s a classic in my book....
