Pours a reddish copper with a massive billowy foam head that lends great lacing on the glass. Aroma is sweet and malty with a fruit (grapes?)undertone and a hoppy spiciness happening. Some yeast in there as well. Flavor is initially sweet and malty, dark fruit and spice, then a long, lingering bitter and dry finish. Palate is very smooth and fits the beer well. Pretty dang good, more than I expected.

This beer has a fantastic amber color and a good head, though it disappears fast. The aroma is slightly fruity. And the flavor is fantastic with hints of oranges and a slight sweetness ending of with a fantastic bitterness from a great sort of hop. Nothing less than a fantastic beer.

Clear copper with a bubbly white head. Deep aroma of malt, cookie dough, sherry, leather, and spice. Velvet mouthfeel. Toffee and molasses up front with the caramel malt colese behind. Coffee and crystal malt in the middle, with a nice bitter finish.

Dark amber ale with a huge tan head, this beer has roasty aroma and flavor. The flavor is complimented by caramel and citrus. It has a smooth and nearly chewy mouthfeel.

Bottle. Copper/red color with an off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, sweet fruit, toffee, blackcurrant, caramel, citrus, spice and some yeast. Tastes of sweet and roasted malt, toffee, fruit, spices, marzipan, nuts, citrus and bread. Complex. Good balance between sweet malts and bitter hops. A bit strong in alcohol but still smooth and highly drinkable.
