| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 24, 2004 Pours a reddish copper with a massive billowy foam head that lends great lacing on the glass. Aroma is sweet and malty with a fruit (grapes?)undertone and a hoppy spiciness happening. Some yeast in there as well. Flavor is initially sweet and malty, dark fruit and spice, then a long, lingering bitter and dry finish. Palate is very smooth and fits the beer well. Pretty dang good, more than I expected. The aroma is slightly fruity. And the flavor is fantastic with hints of oranges and a slight sweetness ending of with a fantastic bitterness from a great sort of hop. Nothing less than a fantastic beer. TC2642 (265), Worcester, Worcestershire, England
