Feb 27, 2005 Autumn brown color with nice creamy head. Nice mix of friuts, hops, and a mild malts. Sweet and spicy too. Left with a bitter taste and a little clove.

Oct 16, 2005 Amber coloured. Massive rocky white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with some earthyness. Malty, hoppy flavour. Refreshing and somewhat citric. Great bitterness in finish.

Feb 22, 2009 (bottle) Amber colour with yeast particles and a beige, medium-sized foamy head. Sweet and toasted malty aroma with caramel, subtle fruity notes (elderberries) and a touch of woody and spicy hops. Bitter and slightly sweet flavour, full bodied with a smooth carbonation. Toasty malt-character with caramel, licorice and subtle fruity notes, backed by spicy and woody hops.. Almost dry, slightly burnt bitter and sweet finish with gentle woody hoppy notes. Extremely rounded and flavourful strong Ale (22.II.09).

Oct 19, 2005 Poured a beautiful clear amber-brown with a 1-finger tan head. Aroma of hops, mildly fruity - but mostly hoppy. Flavor... oh yeah, there’s hops in here. Lots of ’em. Bitter, in a good way. With a nice touch of malt. Palate is smooth. Carbonation doesn’t get in the way at all, and there’s no detectable alcohol to hide any flavors. Yet another great beer from Fuller’s.

Feb 24, 2007 Bottle. Clear copper with a very big, light yellow head. Complex aroma of fruit, chocolate and spices. Fruit and chocolate, spicy, good earthy bitterness, dry finish. Simply great.

Jul 9, 2007 Clear copper with a bubbly white head. Deep aroma of malt, cookie dough, sherry, leather, and spice. Velvet mouthfeel. Toffee and molasses up front with the caramel malt colese behind. Coffee and crystal malt in the middle, with a nice bitter finish.

Dec 17, 2005 500 ml botle bought at Systembolaget, Luleå, Sweden. Lots of roasted malts. Very nice aroma; cereal and christmas pudding. Very long and lively aftertaste, with the taste of the roasted malts and the bitter-hops lingering in the mouth.
