Pour is excellent wtih a dark hue and a highly carbinated essense that leads to a thick head. Mouthfeel is very smooth with a long lasting flavor base. Flavor is very hoppy with a hint of dried fruit. wetherel (1636), Encinitas, California, USA

Nice color. Above average beer I like it. I’ve seen it at the stores for a while, but this is the first time I’ve tried it.
Rerate: 4/11/08. Nice malty aroma. Easy to drink everyday beer. Exact same rating. dins (267), Texas, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 21, 2004 Hazy red color with a head of small whiteish bubbles that dissapeared to leave a small sheen of bubbles floating atop my beer. Dried fruit aroma mainly, thats all I could get from it. Spicy flavor at the beginning that turns to bitter, then to hops. Leaves a crisp finish and a slight bitter taste in my mouth. I like it. As a side note, when I opened the bottle it started to foam like crazy. I dont know if shook it while examining the bottle or what, but it was bizzare. Tessic (465), Brantford, Ontario, Canada

Also grape or raisin. First sip is bitter. With roasted fruit / grain flavours. Hint of coffee. The finish is still stong with hops but good. The palate is dry and malty. Very good Beer.
