Jun 13, 2006 Bottle. A hazy orange beer with a thin disappearing orange head. The aroma is very spicy on a malty caramel back ground. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of caramel, combined with a light spicyness.

Jun 15, 2006 (Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, amber golden with a small, off-white head. Rather unusual aroma, slightly nutty, but not overly clean or pleasant. Medium body with a very alcoholic note and some very distinct bittering hops. What’s in between the aroma and the finish is a bit uncertain, I’m just not very fond of it. 110606

Feb 20, 2006 Amber color; big head; lace. Aroma of demerara sugar and malt. Quite good Bitter, with some malt, but not exceptional. Very strong bitterness.

Apr 25, 2008 Bottle at Chris_o’s The Wolf tasting. Actually Rene, I brought this one. Amber colour with thin beige head. Little bit of must on aroma. Good Fullers beer with decent flavours in mouth. Aroma isn’t great, but the rest is very good and drinkable.

Jun 22, 2006 Bottle thanx to Duff. Orange colour with a tan head. Malty, hoppy, light fruity aroma and a Light sweet, light roasted, caramel malty, hoppy taste. Medium body with a dry finish.

Apr 27, 2008 A Mes rate: bottle at Chris_O’s Ha Ha Ha Ha Gimme the Cheese Tasting.
Rich amber with a good beige head and lace. Notes of soy let the aroma down a little but some good malt and creamy caramel sort it out, light notes of tobacco too. Similar flavour but it works slightly better for me. Overly yeasty in the finish or it could have been even better. Dry hopping is virtually undetectable sadly, though I’m not sure if this beer would need it. Certainly one of Fullers better offerings.
