500 ml bottle. Finland. Clear amber colour with small off-white head. Sweet fruity aroma. Some tea-like notes and caramel. Same goes with the flavour. Some caramel sweetness but mostly fruits and bitterness. Rather good balance. A bit light.

50cl bottle, Alko. Amber color, with a fruity and toffeeish aroma. Smooth and quite bitter flavour. Have to try this again sometime.

Draught at the Monk’s Table- Medium deep transparent amber with a frothy cap. Nose of caramel and light fruit, a bit of toffee. Simple yet pleasing. Tastes of sweet caramel and grassy hops, very English.....a bit fruity as well, slightly bready, some treacle. Thin finish but full on flavour and good balance of sweet and bitter. I’ll rock this mo’ fo’ anytime.

Draught at The Abbot on the Hill. Golden amber with a small snow-white head. Aroma is fruity (esp. peach) and mildly floral. Crisp body. Great malt/hop balance in the flavour, and more flavour than you might expect from a fairly low alcohol beer. Decent and very sessionable.

Draught. At Sin & Redemption, Toronto. Clear gold pour, average white head. Buttery, grainy aroma, slightly floral. Taste - same, nice floral bitterness, light, crisp, refreshing. Light body, nice mouthfeel, quitck finish - just what I like in a run-of the mill bitter, maybe a tad better.

500 ml bottle. Golden color, white head. Hoppy aroma. Smooth, bitter flavor with a touch of caramel. Light body, medium-light carbonation. A nice, easy-going bitter with good session potential.
