Jan 2, 2009 500ml pasteurised bottle from Sainsburys in a Fuller’s four pack. Chiswick in the cask is very rarely any good. Pasteurised in the bottle is a non-starter really. Thin, lacking in flavour or character. A washed out no-hoper of a beer. You might as well have a lager - the East European lagers have more flavour and character and are more attractive to drink than this crap.

Caramel, malt, and a hint of fruit, dark amber, small off-white head. Taste is a faint, candied apples, malt, and almomds. Light bodied, well balanced, woody, nutty, bitter and dry., an easy drinking beer. Very good session ale.

Dec 23, 2008 Faint hop smell, medium yellow colour with no noticeable head. Served really too cold on-tap at Abbot On The Hill. I think it killed most of the carbonation, and thought it to be akin to a cask. Decent subdued hop flavour. Satisfying, and not bad for 3.5% ABV.
A bit less than medium mouthfeel.

Orange with white head. Aroma of malt and hop notes of hay and spices. Flavor is caramel and a nice bucket of spicy and citric hop tones.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, grass, grapefruit, orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (100908)

Pours dark golden with a fine, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is nicely hoppy, some pine and flowers. Light caramel. Light mouthfeel, highish carbonation. Flavour is nice, good hoppiness, nice herbal edge to it with pune and flowers. Light malty backbone. Fair.

Sep 24, 2008 Bottle. High fluffy and lasting white head. Clear amber body. Very sweet malty aroma with caramel notes. Heavily carbonated bitter flavor with metallic notes. The aftertaste is long and good. Quite impressive taste for such a low alcohol beer.
