| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 12, 2009 On cask. Poured a pale translucent amber with no head and the minimalist of lacing. Aroma was of pollen which I’ve come to associate with goldings and detest as a worthless variety of hop and the malt was striclty subdued, that or the beer was perhaps too cold. The flavor was of unsweetened ice tea and dandelion pollen, I kid you not. The palate was also thin and watery. Overall the beer was barely any more bitter than a budweiser. Lots of white lace afterward in glass. Faint aroma, seemigly blocked by cleanser in glass. Decent bitterness, particularly at 3.5%. Slightly less than average mouthfeel.
