A very flavourful session bitter.
Re-tasted honeymoon in England, this has got even better, the flavours and body seem to have been beefed up a lot! I love this beer and drank a hell of a lot of it! PieTaster (32), Humpton, California, USA

Rerate - I have grown increasingly fond of this beer - when kept well it is one of my favourite bitters.
Rerating @ 3 fuller’s establishments. The General Havelock, Loudwater, Bucks. The Brewery & one of the pubs next to the brewery (name escapes me). This really is a vastly underrated bitter, that is almost never seen outside of the Fuller’s tied estate, shame. Crunchie (35), Somerset, England

Gorgeous aroma of Golding’s - put your head in bag full of them and that’s what it’s like - fruity (orange and lemon?), floral and backed up by some (in the word’s of Protzy) biscuity malt. There is a firm but light malt body, lovely green hops (altough they slowly decrease over the period of time the cask is on) and good bitterness. It’s a bitter and it has the wonderful interplay between malt and hops with that classic English fruity yeast. If you’re American then you should love it as it adheres to a style incredibly well. A testament to English subtlety!
