The smell is citrus (oranges, lemons), and some sweet malt with caramel notes. Tastes of citrus fruitiness, Honey, light floral notes, a bit of biscuits and caramel. Some bitterness in the finish. Very light taste.
Medium carbonation and light body.
A very smooth and highly drinkable golden ale. Goes down easy, but not very interesting. The bottled version has an ABV of 4.2%.

A bit faint bitter aroma, nothing much there actually. Same goes with flavor, although the bitterness is gone. A very quick and fading taste with some malts in the finish. Lacks character. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 24, 2007 Clear golden with a medium head. Boring aroma of malt, earth, and sweet fruit. Whoa...what is with this flavor? Biscuit malts, some hoppiness, some citrus. Finishes real biscuity. I can’t say i enjoyed this beer. joe19612 (701), camberley, Surrey, England
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 15, 2007 Bottle. Poured a pure gold colour with a thin white head. The aroma is sweeta and fruity with a touch of bitterness. The flavour is crisp and fruity however it is a well balanced beer. However I think that their Summer Breeze under the Gales label is better.

But, boy, what a let down. The best thing about the whole experience was the bottle label! There was nothing about the aroma to distinguish this brew from the lower regions of average and the appearance was just like any other blond beer. Okay, let’s go for the taste test, but what taste? Fullers say it has a "delicious malty taste, bursting with biscuity flavours". Well, my bottle didn’t. It was a weak tasting brew that would probably be rejected even on a Girl Guides picnic. On the palate it was thin and watery. I hear what others say about it being a summer beer, but there are much better ones out there (Innis & Gunn Oak Aged, for example). So come on Fullers, how did this one slip through your quality checks? FatPhil (3483), Espoo, Finland

Zesty summery aroma. Biscuity malt taste and light hoppiness make this a summer session beer. A little light for my taste, but not bad. Look for honey as it warms up.
