Commercial Description:
Bottled, Pasteurised.
This delicious, premium blonde ale from Fuller’s is the perfect combination of unbeatable flavour and refreshment.
Brewed using a unique blend of malted barley and wheat for a delicious malty taste bursting with rich, biscuity flavours, Liberty hops are then added for a distinctive zesty character and fruity bite, whilst Saaz hops add a gentle bitter taste for a clean, refreshing finish.
In cask, Discovery is 3.9% ABV, while in bottles the strength is 4.5% ABV.
Discovery tastes great served chilled, and its light, refreshing character makes it a perfect accompaniment to many foods.

Golden color. Some white sugar aroma. Some sugar floss taste, with light hidden malt. Simple.

Draft. Thin thin, but i tasted it next to a really shitty beer, but never the less it is thin.

An orange beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is quite flowery, but also with hints of malt. Malty, faint caramel sweet flavor hints of fruit and a hoppy dry finish.

330 ml bottle. Brilliant deep golden colour. Throws a tall white fluffy head. Fruity sweet apricoty hop and malt aroma. Very clean. Orangey notes. Crisp, delicious hop flavours. Soft, but distinct hop bitterness covers the tongue. Nice malty flavour throughout.

Pours orangy golden (clear) with a dismal white head. Strong aroma of citrus, skunky flowery hops and old leather. Thin body, but not watery, gives flavours of sweet caramel, citrus, leather and light yeast. Tasted a little stale overall.

Bottle. Clear orange. Head lasts for a while. Flowery hops in the aroma. Taste is unfortunately thin and sweet. Not much hops. Too thin. Perhaps if this weren’t pasteurized...

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 30 Sep) Golden yellow colour, small white head. Fruity nose with notes of pineapple, mango and orange, hints of toffee and butter, some grassy hop aromas. Fruity taste with tropical fruit and orange, some toffee. Slightly soapy mouthfeel. Grassy hops in the finish. Easy to drink, but not really exciting.
