Commercial Description:
Bottled, Pasteurised.
This delicious, premium blonde ale from Fuller’s is the perfect combination of unbeatable flavour and refreshment.
Brewed using a unique blend of malted barley and wheat for a delicious malty taste bursting with rich, biscuity flavours, Liberty hops are then added for a distinctive zesty character and fruity bite, whilst Saaz hops add a gentle bitter taste for a clean, refreshing finish.
In cask, Discovery is 3.9% ABV, while in bottles the strength is 4.5% ABV.
Discovery tastes great served chilled, and its light, refreshing character makes it a perfect accompaniment to many foods.

Bottle at Stockholm Beer Festival. Clear golden with a low white head. Sweet aroma of diacetyl with a light note of lemon-zest. Sweet malty flavour of biscuit, honey and butter with faint notes of soily hops. Mellow aftertaste of butter and white bread.

0,5l bottle. Pale colour, small head. Looks like a wheat beer. Aroma is rich of honey and flowers. The beer taste Extremely foamy mouthfeel, good. Rich palate of citrus, flowers and a really good contrast between the sweet and bitter.

Poured from the bottle, a clear golden yellow, a little carbonation and a good-sized white head. A sweet flowery aroma. Sweetish flavour again, citrus and herbs. Smooth mouthfeel, but a short finish.

Bottle (Waitrose): Golden, sweet bland but balanced. Quite lager-like. Generic, bland beer. Dissapointing stuff for Fullers.

Bottled: Golden coloured. Clear. Off white head. Sweet and light skunky aroma. NOtes of fruits. Flavour is sweet as well. HAs som herbal fruitiness and a light citric edge. Is thin bodied. Dry mouthfeel. Ends on a light herbal bitter end. By no means an offensive beer. Way too bland for my likings.

Bottle. Blonde. Buttery aroma. Buttery flavor with a hint of hops. Thin, in fact it tastes like a diluted Franconian Kellerbier without the barnyard and the manure heap. Quaffable.
