Commercial Description:
Bottled, Pasteurised.
This delicious, premium blonde ale from Fuller’s is the perfect combination of unbeatable flavour and refreshment.
Brewed using a unique blend of malted barley and wheat for a delicious malty taste bursting with rich, biscuity flavours, Liberty hops are then added for a distinctive zesty character and fruity bite, whilst Saaz hops add a gentle bitter taste for a clean, refreshing finish.
In cask, Discovery is 3.9% ABV, while in bottles the strength is 4.5% ABV.
Discovery tastes great served chilled, and its light, refreshing character makes it a perfect accompaniment to many foods.

Bottle: Golden body with a medium sized, white head - quickly diminishing with some lacings. Slightly hoppy aroma. Malty and citrus lavour. Light bodied. Little bitter finish. Mild and pleasant beer, but not very interesting.

Bottle. Blonde. Buttery aroma. Buttery flavor with a hint of hops. Thin, in fact it tastes like a diluted Franconian Kellerbier without the barnyard and the manure heap. Quaffable.

Bottled. Aroma of dough and butter. Might be nice for breakfast but not in my beer. Golden color, white head, good lace. Light sweet, light sour, light bitter, butter and some cookie. Boring and I’m not convinced at all.

A golden blonde. Lemon aroma with a cakey bite. Sits on the tongue and the lemon hangs in there for the bitter finish

Bottled picked at Sainsbury’s in the Fullers brewers selection 4 pack along with IPA, Chiswick, and Honeydew. Golden in colour with a white head not too much aroma but what their was gave a faintly sweet smell, reasonable hoppy taste with some citrust qualities noticed overall I was a little bit unimpressed with this.

Bottle, 500ml. A yellow-coloured pour with an average diminishing head. Sweet citrus aromas. A nice hoppy, slightly sweet citrus taste. A nice finish with some hoppy bitterness. A smooth texture. Average carbonation. Nice and refreshing, but a little boring.

From bottle. Lovely golden appearance with a decent head. Has a aroma of honey. A very sweet beer with not really any distinct taste afterwards. A little to sweet I feel, but a good brew overall.

Golden colour with a decent white head. Soft and round with notes of biscuits. Not bad but far from Fullers’ best - a bit too lager-like, as duff notes.
