| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 2, 2008 Drinks well enough, the aroma promises a little more than the taste delivers. Fruity sweet aroma, orangey golden body and the taste is straightforward but uninteresting. gunnfryd (3599), Kristiansand, Norway

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 14, 2008 33 cl bottle, bought at Ultra, Hinna. Dark golden to amber color, ok off-white head. Aroma is fruity and sweet malt, also some hoppy notes. Flavor is malt with sweetness, fruit and hoppy bitterness. The body is not bad for a low-alcohol beer. KnutAlbert (3157), Oslo, Norway
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 13, 2008 I’ve had this on cask, but I was pleasantly surprised to find this bottle in my local supermarket in Oslo.
Fruit, cereals, grapefruit, well balanced and refreshing. One of the better British Golden ales, who often tend to be boring. Beer2000 (1823), Kristiansand, Norway
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 8, 2008 330 ml bottle. Clear golden body with a rather small off/white head. Aroma is malty, caramel and surprisingly fruity. Flavor is sweet malt, some caramel, fruit and a balanced bitterness. This beer has actually a impressive body and balance at only 4,2 ABV. A nice session beer. EFC1878 (292), Manchester, Greater Manchester, England
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 4, 2008 Bottle from supermarket. Not what I’d call a blonde by any stretch. Orangey brown colour with pale white head that rapidly disappears. Pleasant malt aroma with a flowery/citrus undertone. Too thin for its ABV it lacks punch on the palate. Slight bitterness in the finish is overwhelmed by the sweetness and leads to a lack of character. I can imagine this being a decent cask-conditioned real ale and the bottle version would certainly benefit from secondary fermentation.
