Commercial Description:
Bottled, Pasteurised.
This delicious, premium blonde ale from Fuller’s is the perfect combination of unbeatable flavour and refreshment.
Brewed using a unique blend of malted barley and wheat for a delicious malty taste bursting with rich, biscuity flavours, Liberty hops are then added for a distinctive zesty character and fruity bite, whilst Saaz hops add a gentle bitter taste for a clean, refreshing finish.
In cask, Discovery is 3.9% ABV, while in bottles the strength is 4.5% ABV.
Discovery tastes great served chilled, and its light, refreshing character makes it a perfect accompaniment to many foods.

Big white shiny head does not last. Deep golden body with light carbonation. Clean fruity peppery hoppy aroma with floral notes. Dry-sweet fruity malty taste with floral peppery hop notes. Clean, fresh palate. Mid- to thin body. Dry herbal wooden hoppy aftertaste, with, as yngwie says, a touch of lime. Lovely refreshing session beer. Great harmony and balance. (0.33l bottle, ICA Supermarked, Oslo.)

courtesy of Laurent Mousson - clear bronze colour, poor foam; wet corn and citrus in the nose; rather highly carbonated; medium-bodied and a low bitterness; corny , slightly fruity finish - modest

500 ml. bottle. Aromas of fruit and biscuit. Orange tinged gold color with a small white head. MEdium body with creamy carbonation. Biscuit maltiness and floral/fruit hop compete nicely. I think bitter prevails in the finish. Good ale.

500ml Bottle- Amber coloured with a small head. Hoppy, slightly soapy aroma with grapefruit and peaches in syrup. Bitter, slightly soapy taste with hops coming to the fore and the grapefruit and peaches in syrup featuring again. Not bad at all and very refreshing.

500ml bottle. Firm and small head. Liquid is clear, light amber and has golden shades. Fruity aromas, citrus and maybe passion fruit? Sweet malts, wheat malts were (luckily) sensibly added. Light bitter finish with soft and slick palate make this easy to drink. I still miss more bitterness. Simple and easy to drink, but nothing else.

Bottle. This beer has aromas of flowers and hops and crisp mouth feel with flavours of grains and some citrus. The flavour of this beer is a bit too understated. However, because of this, it is an ideal match with spicy, flavourful food such as indian and mexican dishes.

Bottle. Pours a dark yellow colour with a white head. Aroma is some flowery hops and some malty notes of biscuits and white bread. Thin Flavour is metallic with some malty notes of biscuits. Very boring.
