Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular.
This delicious, premium blonde ale from Fuller’s is the perfect combination of unbeatable flavour and refreshment.
Brewed using a unique blend of malted barley and wheat for a delicious malty taste bursting with rich, biscuity flavours, Liberty hops are then added for a distinctive zesty character and fruity bite, whilst Saaz hops add a gentle bitter taste for a clean, refreshing finish.
In cask, Discovery is 3.9% ABV, while in bottles the strength is 4.5% ABV.
Discovery tastes great served chilled, and its light, refreshing character makes it a perfect accompaniment to many foods.

Cask at Churchill Arms, London. Dark golden color. Fruity aroma with hints of melon. Virtually no carbonation. Tropical fruits and marmelade in the flavor with soft and lightly sweet maltiness. Fruity, lightly bitter and sweetish finish. A bit dull, same aromas and flavors throughout.

Cask at The Sanctuary House (Westminster - London).
Limpid yellow color, little bubbly and with a light and little long-lasting head. Insufficient and light scent with light straw notes. Little fizzy taste and without particularitity; rather smooths and watery. Short and escaping final.

Cask at the Bell, High Wycombe. Back up to join first place on the Fuller’s list with Duff! Golden colour. Pale malt and a touch of fruit but generally not that full of flavour. Refreshing and clean tasting, this is similar to the Summer Ale. A good first step to real ale for a lager drinker.
