Commercial Description:
Pasteurised bottle.
Goldings hops and Golden Promise malt.
At 8.5% ABV, Golden Pride guarantees a superb range of flavours, that is sure to satisfy even the most discerning of palates. Our brewers describe Golden Pride thus: ’ deep amber in appearance, Golden Pride is full bodied, of moderate bitterness, moderately hopped and rich in malt. Full flavoured, and reminiscent of sweet orange oil, toasted grains, and bread. Rich malty aromas lead to a similarly styled palate, with an intense finish. Sweet and bitter flavours are expressed in good balance in this weighty brew.’ Or as the late Michael Jackson, beer writer and connoisseur, put it: ’the Cognac of beers’.

Bottle,IBS, Perth amazingly rich treacle, toffee and malt in the nose, Poured a slightly hazy coppery red, palate is dominated by flavour hops, which detracted form the thick sweetness a little, dare I say I would have preferred this if it had a little less hops..

Perfect beer for a wintery Wellington afternoon in front of the fire. Pours amber with a soft white head, sweet malty bready nose with a orangey malt flavours. Malt driven but with a bitterness that stops it being cloying.

Álcool no sabor.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden amber with a semi creamy off-white head. Fruity and light malt aroma, solid pinewood hops too. Initially sweet and quite dense malty with notes of fruit like banana. Smooth mouthfeel and flavour going into a little more bite before the finish. Finish holds a smooth yet complex malt base with fruit, sweetness, liqourice, caramel and mixed with hops to slowly provide a nice dryness. Great!
