| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 28, 2009 Bottled. Dark amber, firm beige head. Plain sweet toffee aroma, hint of hops, vanilla and warming alcohol. Flavor has sweetish toffee, little berries and banana fruitiness, alcohol shows even more, solid hops in the sugary finish. Medium to full bodied, a bit sticky lush palate. Utterly simple, but still pleasing enough strong ale. ako (154), Turku, Finland

Amber, little head. Strong malty aroma, even whisky-like with the alcohol. Not too sweet, strong malty flavor, some caramel. Slightly bitter in the finish. Easy to drink considering the ABV. jcwattsrugger (5581), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 14, 2009 On tap at Birreria Accademia. First aroma was of wet socks. Two finger off-white head with clear golden ruby color. Strong alcohol taste and darker malt tones coupled with faint citrus tastes. Overly carbonated, an average beer but I’d rather drink something else at a bar. OleR (2106), Oslo, Norway
