| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 3, 2005 (On tap) Very dark, almost mahogany, with a vague reddish hue. Clear and filtered, pretty much without any head. Weak notes of malt, but otherwise incredibly light-bodied. Rather watery with a decent, hoppy finish. I was told that "Milds" used to be way stronger - up to 6% - but the alcohol was lowered during the 1st world war so the workers wouldn’t cause terrible accidents in the munitions industries.... 210505 MiP (9162), Sønderborg, Denmark

Flavour is very roasted and malty, but a bit watery. Quite bitter aftertaste. Body is a bit thin, as can be expected from a mild. OK session beer. joergen (8638), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 5, 2009 A Mes rate. Gravicask at London Drinker. Mahogany brown with no head at all. Faint malty stuff all round. Very dull indeed. A little caramel and a dull bitterness in the finish are about all it can muster. Boring as hell. I can see why they don’t bother with this very often. duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England

Typical smooth Fullers mouthfeel. Lightly sweet to start, quite nutty, with subtle hints of caramel, and a touch roasty. Quite a light, but rounded mouthfeel. Nothing overly complex or anything, a solid pint.
