Bottle 50cl.
Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090517]

Flaske: Tydelig engelsk humle i duften. Orange med et lille skumhoved. Klassisk bitter, ikke megen IPA over denne øl der næsten ikke har nogen bitterhed. Dog drikbar, men kedelig.

Draught@Rotterdam, Helsinki. Deep golden color, lasting off-white head. Woody hop and sawdust aroma. Full flavor with malts and grapefruit along with some licorice notes. Full body, medium carbonation. Not sure it qualifies as even an English IPA, but it’s a pretty good beer nonetheless.

Keg@Rotterdam, Helsinki. Amber-golden color, smallish steady creamy head. Light fruity, a bit unclean sweet bread aroma. Medium-bodied. Lagerish sweet malty flavor with quite light hopping. Slighty fruity. Not much to do with IPA - like drinking a bit maltier pale lager.

Source:Bottle at the brewery.
Glass:Taster glass.
Appearance:Clear amber color with a thin off white head.
Aroma:Hint of caramel but mainly grain. Not a lot of hop presence.
Flavor:Caramel malt base with a floral finish.
Palate:Medium body with mild carbonation.
Overall:I wasn’t a big fan of this one. Seemed a bit disjointed.

Initially disappointing, as it just doesn’t "pop" like an IPA should. Seriously lacking in the hop department. However, once you stop thinking about it as an IPA and start thinking about it as just a beer, it’s great. It’s very quaffable. One of those beers you’d happily have many pints of during an evening - though at 5.3% that could be an issue!

Bottle, purs amber with a small white head. Not much aroma, only a slight hoppyness. Slightly grassy/astringent hoppynes, with a smooth malty finish. very enjoyable.

low aroma - just a whiff of malt and grassy hops. sublte honey/caramel malt with an assertive, grassy bitterness. Better fresh I imagine.
