Bit of a smoky grass aroma. The flavor is full-bodied, oakey, nutty, woodsy, with a hint of smoke and well rounded. An excellent ale with an 'old world' character. hoppiness to keep it fresh for the long journey to the sub-continent. Elegant pour, with just the
right amount of fluffy white head. Aroma is very subtle and may have been dampended by the
frozen glass that the waitress served this in - but detect citrus notes. Stays strong throughout - excellent
accompaniment to a meal - taste does not overpower like sone American IPAs tend to do. Aubrey (2778), Denver, Colorado, USA

Mostly rewarding mouthfeel, though there are watery notes. Rich, noticeable malts. Easy to drink. Decent hop bitterness. Malts definitely outweigh the hops. Some roasted caramel and toast. Lingering bitterness. fiulijn (7420), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy

When poured, it yielded a medium head of off white medium to large bubbles that left a good lacing as it receded. Its body was a medium amber color. It has a mild initial taste with a slight after taste. Some carbonation was evident in the taste. This brew was much smoother than I expected. It is a decent brew, but give me their Porter!
