Oddly enough, there is a strong malt content to it as well. I'm not sure the two mesh very well. It's a pretty good IPA, but there's better. crazyvin (1254), New York, USA

Kind of damp and muddied malt - well toasted bread soaked, for some unfathomable reason, in fruit juice til the pleasantness drips away. Fresh hops dance tanatalizingly around the edges, but can't completely redeem the beer. argo0 (6958), Washington DC, USA

Taste is light malty up front, finishing with decent earthy bitterness. Moderately watery palate. adrenalin112 (57), west covina, California, USA

Well hopped for something outside of the Pacific Norhtwest though. Cookieish malt nose, some dryness as well. Solid brew, great balance and nice complexity. Zach Diesel (907), Portland, Oregon, USA
