Moderately sweet malt flavoured with not enough hops to separate it from a brown ale. Although I am partial to American IPA's.

Perfumey, floral aroma...not at all similar to an American IPA...but not bad. The flavor had a slight burnt character to it, with very little hops bitterness. Nice crisp finish. I would much rather drink their ESB.

Nice golden colour, big bubbled head. No noticable hop in the smell, just an average lager smell. Some hops near the end of the taste, but other than that, just an average malty pale ale.

Poured a clear golden amber color with an off-white head. Moderate hoppiness with some bready malt and citrus aftertaste. Well balanced. Interesting to try an english version of the IPA. I'd like to try it out of a cask.

Slightly sweet malty aroma. Taste is not as pale as I enjoy, but there are some good hints of spice, hops, and malt. Texture is good, making the tongue tingle.

I love it. Prefect malt flavor for its style the hops are wonderful the British are not as hop insane as the American brewers. Sometimes it’s nice to taste a beer without any citrus notes from Cascade type hops. This was a fresh sample on tap

It has a malty aroma, and a thin, hopless flavor. I agree with notalush, this is not a good IPA.

Gold and amber color, medium body. Flowery, sweet tastes, but where are the hops? This has no hop character whatsoever, especially for an IPA. A great disappointment.
