Deep amber, small head. Simple sweet malty nose. Luscious smooth malty palate. Very simple, but utterly delightful traditional English bitter body. Hops pretty restrained, I can imagine non-Brits getting confused by the IPA name. However, what’s there is tasty, all pretty mellow. Suffers from being keg a little, I would walk over broken glass to get a real ale version of this.

Jun 8, 2009 Clear deep golden with a tiny off white head. Aroma had sweet malt, caramel, fruits and grassy hops. Flavour was sweet with nice malts, caramel, floral hops and fruits. Refreshing stuff that finished fairly bitter.

Jun 7, 2009 (Draught at Angleterre, Helsinki, on 2009-06-05) Golden and clear. Small white head. Malts and hops in aroma. Medium bodied and dry palate with medium carbonation. Malts, corn, hops, bitterness, sweetness and fruitiness in taste. Fruity, malty and bitter aftertaste.

Jun 4, 2009 Draught@Hadanka, Helsinki. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity and hoppy along with some slight grassy notes. Flavour is very fruity and quite pleasantly balanced. Nice grassy fruity finish.
