The aroma is a nice sweet malty and hoppy one. The color is amber and it has a beutiful head. The flavor is sweet and hoppy with notes of fruit and grass. It doesn't have bite enough for an IPA. The ends is more grassy, than it is bitter.

Orange cloured. robustly malty. Complex and bitter. Definitely less hoppy than American IPA’s, but well hoppped for a British ale. Yet another great beer from Fuller’s!

50 cL bottle. Pours clear, golden and orange with a small yet lasting white head. Aroma is mild grassy, vague citrusy and crisp. Bitter and light grassy flavoured, quite simple hops profile - delicate and elegant. Bitter and slight grassy finish with a persisting light citrusy touch.

Bottle at home. Clear amber coloured with a medium sized off white head. Fruity aroma of caramel, hay, grass and hops. Fruity flavour dominated by grass and hops with notes of citrus and caramel. Hoppy finish. Very ordinary.

In these dry times, I was flipping through my old notebooks, reading about the glory days of the Stockholm Beer Festival last year. I saw this entry and scratched my head. I had Fuller’s IPA? Well I’ll be damned. The fact that I forgot I’d even had this pretty much sums it up though.
