Amber color; nice lacing. The aroma is a bit breadish and earthy. The flavor is quite malty, well structured, a bit yeasty. Quite bitter.

Jun 11, 2005 Cask, the cockney pub. Amber with a nice head. Fruit, earth, rust, long finish. Easy drinking but not one I’ll keep coming back to.

May 26, 2005 Cask. Dark golden colour with a small off-white head. Hoppy aroma and a bitter dry honey taste. Medium body and a light sweet dry finish.

May 25, 2005 Cask @ KØ 2005: Golden coloured. Clear. Almost no head. Aroma is fresh and mildly fruity. Some malts and hops are present. Flavour is light hoppy with a somewhat flowery undertone. Quite refreshing. Ends on a light bitter note. Find this to be a pleasant sessionbeer, that I could drink all night.

May 12, 2005 (Cask conditioned@St.Urho’s Pub, Helsinki) Slightly hazy light amber color with a medium, big-bubbled head. Mild but pleasant, aromatic-flowery-hoppy, caramely aroma. Aromatic-hoppy, but also bitter, slightly buttery and oaky flavor. Medium-bodied, slicky and bitter palate with flat carbonation. An enjoyable but quite plain IPA.

May 7, 2005 Amber colour. Dusty English hop aroma. Quite earthy. Very dry and quite bitter with just a hint of hedgerow fruit. Lingering finish - dry tending towards tart. I found this a really agreeable drinking beer although, at the end of the day, perhaps just a touch one-dimensional. Bright bottled from cask at Reading Beer Festival 2005 nad stood up quite well to a few days in a plastic bottle..
