Looks like a glass of Vimto with a creamy head, the aroma is nice and malty but i just didn’t get any blackberry in the taste (if it was it was faint)

Bottle. Red amber coloured with a slim off-white head. Fruity and malty aroma, smells like Fuller’s. You can taste the blackberries and they work pretty well, alongside the malt and caramel. A nice and subdued hoppy bitter finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation. A good pasteurised bitter.

Ok! lacks a head, but the nose bursts with ripe fruit...lovely! The rest of this is a BIG disappointment, lacks in body and in flavour, the fruit which was promising on the nose has disappeared, and leaves almost zilch...a promising start, but a poor finish!

Toffee nose, slight peat. Rudy amber color, tall foamy head. Caramelly malt, toaste grain, raisin sweetness. Woody end, fairly bitter, drying finish but not hoppy. More like the bitter from an orange peel. Medium body. Didn’t get the blackberries.

Reddish brown with a small off-white head. Good toasty malt aroma. Taste was sweet and creamy, almost oily. Some fruit in there, but nothing you’d recognize as blackberry. Curiously the flavour put me in mind of Silly la Divine, which is twice the strength. Very slight bitterness.

Aroma is malty, with some light straw notes and i can tell the blackberries are trying to get through, however they dont. Taste is clean and again the blackberries seem to come though, malty a malty body however could do with a little more dryness to make it better. Easily drinkable.

Bottle from Sainsbury. Reddish brown colour with lasting off white head. Blackberry jam and toast aroma. Again in mouth with same flavours. Finish has a dryness to it of burnt toast. Malt is a little juicy. Not sure it totally works. I like the finish with residual fruit syrup
