Cask-conditioned at the Mad Bishop and Bear, Paddington 29/12/08. Reddish brown with a decent off-white head. Aroma of caramel and berry fruit. Flavour started sweet, with a hint of oak, leafy hops and some tart fruit in the finish. Drinkable.

Cask handpull at Barrow Boy and Banker, London Bridge. Chestnut with beige head. Malt and apricot/peach/plum aroma. Much more fruit than in the bottle version. Touch of vanilla too. Fruit in mouth is full and reminiscent of victoria plums. Then good finish. A real surprise especially the prune/plum finish
