Commercial Description:
Cask, Seasonal - Jan, Feb;
Brewed with crystal malt and a dash of blackberries, Jack Frost delivers a fruity, robust yet refreshing flavour that lingers long on the palate. NOTE: Most Fuller's beer in the US is served by handpump kegs and not a cask. Ask your server.

Cask at ’t Proeflokaal, 6th DRG. Sourish and fruity aroma. Dark amber color, beige head, good lace. Light sweet, sourish, bitter, fruity, little dry.

Cask : The Wyche Elm, Kingston Upon Thames. Dark, ruby red, witha fruity blackberry flavour. An upinspiring beer with a pleasent enough character. Not as meaty as its colour leads you to belive.

Cask, New Road Inn, Leicester. Mahogony in colour with a dense cream head. Aromas are light roast toffee malts with raisins, berries and yeast - quite plummy. Flavours are fruity, especially slightly sour berries, with toffee malts. Quite dry towards the finish. Not as rich as I expected for a Winter warmer.

1. Cask Handpump at the Railway, Altrincham 01/01/2005 Mid brown colour slightly rich on the palate and fruity. Some dryness in a bitter malt finish. 2. Cask Handpump at the Head Of Steam, London 08/12/2005 Amber coloured beer with some alcohol presence. Fruity but the blackberries didn’t seem as prominent as they have when I’ve sampled this beer before. Some slight sourness and dryness with lots of malt in the finish.

Pint pulled at The Old Bank of England in the City (London), a ruby brown colour with a frothy head. Not a strong aroma, but soem maltiness comes through. Malty flavour again and quite smooth.

Handpulled at Old Joint Stock, Birmingham. Alluring winter fruits aroma but sadly not followed through in the flavour; a snatch of barley, thin sweetness, leaves little aftertaste that’s worth writing home about.

Cask@The Prince of wales, Richmond, London, nutty, sweet slightly sticky berry fruit, flat, sweet. I thought the bottle and cask versions were much the same surprisingly.
