Commercial Description:
Bottled and (in USA) kegged - pasteurised.
Fuller’s London Porter captures the flavours of those original brews perfectly, although you won’t find a cloudy pint these days! Rich, dark and complex, at 5.4% ABV the beer has an outstanding depth of flavour.
It is brewed from a blend of Brown, Crystal and Chocolate malts for a creamy delivery balanced by traditional Fuggles hops. The range of flavours works well with a wide variety of foods, ranging from rich meat dishes, to oysters, and even chocolate puddings.

500ml can, again, wish they stocked bottles. Extremely chocolatey aroma with generous malt. Nice dense brown head on this very dark beer. Flavour is wonderful. Sweet and complex. Well rounded mouthfeel, moderately dry finish. Somewhere in between medium and full bodied. Soft and smooth, a really good beer overall.

(bottle) Clear, dark mahogany colour with a big and dense beige foamy head. Sweet and moderately roasted malty aroma with a cornucopia of flavours of chocolate, caramel/toffee mocha, nuts and vague hints of smoke. Pleasantly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a creamy carbonation. Aromatic and complex, moderately roasted and slightly grainy malt profile; long lasting and rounded finish. A wonderful Porter (14.VII.09).

A full flavoured and bodied classic porter, its not entertaining by any means but close to flawless with a perfect balance and generous chocolate flavours.

Pours a clear dark brown body with a light tan head that has legs. Roasted and toasted aromas. Flavors of soy sauce, brown sugar, toast, coffee, and some cocoa. Silky body.

A very yummy and rich drink. But still smooth. Like the Guinness draft can except more complexity. Great stuff!

Bottle from double D. Clear and very dark ruby red with a moderate tan head that fades back into said ruby rather quickly. Aroma of dark chocolate, molasses, brown sugar and mild soy sauce. Taste of dark malt, mild chocolate and brown sugar, light coffee and mild hops. Fuller bodied than most porters but not terribly flavorful.
